In short: we install, repair and clean gutters in Fernandina Beach and across Amelia Island. Expect about $6–$10 per foot for 5" seamless aluminum, $14–$22 for half-round aluminum and $25–$40 for copper, as estimates. We schedule island work in batches so the trip does not add to your bill.

Historic houses want a different gutter
Downtown Fernandina, around Centre Street and the blocks behind it, has one of the best collections of Victorian-era homes in Florida. On those houses a modern K-style gutter looks wrong. Half-round gutters on exposed brackets, with round downspouts, match the period, and copper is often the right material. If the house is in the historic district, check with the city before changing visible exterior details; we provide drawings and material sheets for that conversation.
Salt, wind and the island
Amelia Island takes the full force of every nor’easter and tropical system that comes up the coast, and the air is salty everywhere on it. We use stainless hangers and fasteners as standard here, space hangers closer on exposed corners, and strap downspouts firmly so they stay on the wall when the wind picks up. Live oaks over the older streets mean guards are worth considering too.
Newer homes on the south end
Toward the south end of the island and in the subdivisions off A1A on the mainland side, houses are newer and the gutter work looks more like Jacksonville: replacing builder-grade gutters, upsizing downspouts, adding guards under pines, and cleaning twice a year.
What we do here most
- Half-round and copper systems on historic and custom homes.
- Replacing steel gutters that have rusted at the seams.
- Storm repairs after nor’easters and tropical weather.
- Seasonal cleanings for owners who are away part of the year.
